Responsibilities
- Assist with daily data entry and account reconciliation tasks.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals.
- Support the monthly and year-end closing processes.
- Process accounts payable invoices and assist with accounts receivable collections.
- Organize and file physical and digital financial documents.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) to record transactions.
- Generate basic financial reports and assist with tax document preparation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- No prior accounting experience required; we train the right candidates.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Basic math proficiency and understanding of financial concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team-oriented environment.
