Responsibilities
- Oversee the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable operations.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reconciliations and reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with department heads to forecast budgets and monitor variances.
- Assist in the annual audit process and address auditor inquiries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax laws, and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
