Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15+ mid-market clients
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Lead month-end closing processes with reconciliation accuracy
- Develop financial models and variance analysis for operational insights
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals
- Mentor junior staff and optimize accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting experience with Bay Area clients
- Expertise in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel
- Deep understanding of CA tax regulations and multi-state compliance
- Proven ability to manage complex reconciliations and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and client management abilities
