Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close processes and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and regulatory adherence
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives to support strategic decision-making
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements for financial controls
- Collaborate with tax professionals to ensure compliance with Florida state and federal regulations
- Maintain accurate financial records using advanced ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Provide financial insights to executive leadership through regular reporting and analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, FASB standards, and Florida tax regulations
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience managing financial audits and compliance documentation
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and mentor junior staff
