Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and optimize cash flow management
- Prepare and analyze financial reports for executive leadership and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX regulations, and internal controls
- Lead audit coordination activities and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with tax team on quarterly filings and tax strategy
- Maintain accurate fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and MS Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end closes and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
- Excellent communication abilities for cross-functional collaboration
