Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage general ledger operations, account reconciliations, and journal entries
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with strict deadlines
- Collaborate with auditors during external financial reviews and tax filings
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Develop and maintain internal controls for financial processes
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities for department heads
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or private sector
