Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Lead tax planning initiatives and ensure adherence to federal and California state tax requirements
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making
- Mentor junior accountants and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Deep knowledge of California tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Proven ability to manage complex financial reporting cycles and audits
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
