Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full cycle of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing procedures.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L) ensuring strict compliance with GAAP standards.
  • Manage general ledger accounts, including accurate and timely reconciliation of bank statements and balance sheet accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns while ensuring full regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify financial trends and recommend cost-saving measures to management.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to improve internal controls and streamline accounting workflows.
  • Prepare and coordinate all audit schedules and documentation for external auditors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
