Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Prepare accurate financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow)
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely payments
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives for multiple departments
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with auditors during external reviews
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and federal/state regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (VBA a plus)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven experience in multi-state tax compliance
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to thrive in immediate-start environments
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
