Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage general ledger reconciliations and month-end close processes
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow management
- Coordinate internal/external audits and implement compliance controls
- Develop financial models and budget forecasts for department heads
- Lead process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle experience preferred)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA strongly preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP)
- Proven track record of managing month-end closes and audits
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for cross-departmental collaboration
