Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare comprehensive credit recommendations for loan committees and senior management
- Monitor existing credit portfolios and identify early warning signals of potential defaults
- Develop and maintain accurate financial models for forecasting and scenario analysis
- Collaborate with sales teams to structure optimal credit solutions for commercial clients
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and internal credit policies
- Present complex financial data through clear, actionable reports for stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking or financial services
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, financial modeling)
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB, or equivalent) preferred
- Deep understanding of GAAP, GAAS, and risk management frameworks
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
