Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Manage complex general ledger reconciliations and account analysis
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with audit support
- Develop financial forecasts and variance reporting for leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable workflows and process improvements
- Collaborate on tax planning and compliance initiatives
- Maintain internal controls documentation and SOX readiness
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Proven track record in month-end close and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and cross-departmental collaboration abilities
- Active CPA license or CPA candidate with exam completion
