Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage complex month-end and year-end closing processes
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with CFO on budget forecasting and financial modeling
- Lead tax preparation and filing for multi-state operations
- Maintain robust internal controls documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and multi-state tax laws
- Proven track record in financial reporting and analysis
- Excellent problem-solving and cross-departmental communication skills
- Experience with high-growth SaaS or tech companies a plus
