Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable functions and cash flow management
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and tax regulations
- Develop and maintain internal controls for financial processes
- Collaborate with audit teams during external examinations
- Lead financial analysis projects for operational improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel with VBA skills
- Expertise in financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven experience with SOX compliance and audits
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
