Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage general ledger operations, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting
- Collaborate with audit teams during external and internal examinations
- Optimize financial processes through automation and system improvements
- Provide financial insights to support strategic business decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (including macros)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Proven experience managing month-end/quarter-end close processes
