Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Lead accounts payable/receivable operations with vendor/client relationship management
- Develop and maintain internal controls ensuring compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Conduct audits and process improvements to enhance financial accuracy
- Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in financial statement preparation and analysis
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
