Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Coordinate annual audits and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Develop and implement financial controls and process improvements
- Assist with tax preparation and quarterly filings
- Mentor junior accounting staff and provide training support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience with financial reporting software (Sage 100 a plus)
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
