Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage general ledger operations and month-end close processes
- Lead accounts payable/receivable reconciliation and optimization
- Develop and maintain internal financial controls and documentation
- Assist with annual budget preparation and forecasting initiatives
- Coordinate external audit requirements and tax compliance
- Implement process improvements for financial reporting efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong GAAP knowledge and regulatory compliance expertise
- Experience with financial systems implementation (Sage 100 a plus)
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
