Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and general ledger reconciliations
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance (federal/state)
- Conduct audits and ensure SOX/GAAP adherence
- Develop financial forecasting models and budget analysis
- Lead month-end closing procedures with accuracy
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Deep knowledge of California tax regulations
- Proven experience with multi-state compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
