Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements with commentary
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX/GAAP compliance
- Develop financial models and variance analysis for executive reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
- Maintain robust financial documentation and internal controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Expertise in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and advanced Excel functions
- Proven track record in complex month-end closing processes
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations (CA/Federal) and auditing standards
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments
