Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements and variance analysis reports for management review.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal control procedures.
- Assist external auditors during annual audits and prepare supporting documentation.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- CPA certification or Master’s degree in Accounting preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP).
- Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
