Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes for multiple entities
- Lead internal and external audit coordination efforts
- Develop and implement accounting controls and SOX compliance procedures
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Provide financial insights to support budget forecasting and strategic decisions
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and evolving regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA required)
- 5+ years of public accounting or corporate accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel with macros
- Demonstrated experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing accounting teams (2+ direct reports)
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
