Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for executive stakeholders and external auditors
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing workflows
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Lead tax preparation processes and support audit initiatives
- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Proven experience with month-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
