What You Will Do
- Manage daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy in all records.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and ledgers.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to maintain fiscal health.
- Perform general administrative duties to support the finance department.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or finance is a plus.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial terminology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Process and verify daily invoices and receipts.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems.
- Assist with payroll processing under supervision.
- Prepare and send out monthly statements to clients.
- Update and maintain the general ledger.
- Communicate with vendors regarding billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks preferred).
- Strong computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Basic math and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Background check required.
