Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for internal stakeholders and external clients
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable functions to maintain cash flow efficiency
- Implement and improve internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Lead tax preparation processes and coordinate with external auditors
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Enterprise and Microsoft Dynamics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or private sector
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Deep understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage month-end close and financial reporting
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance a plus
