Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Develop and implement internal controls to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency
- Prepare and file tax documentation while maintaining compliance with state/federal regulations
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and advanced Excel functions
- Demonstrated success in financial reporting, reconciliation, and process optimization
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience in fintech or SaaS industries highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex financial concepts
