Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple entities including AP/AR, GL, and payroll
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with reconciliations
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Collaborate with auditors during financial examinations
- Prepare tax filings and manage sales/use tax compliance
- Maintain accurate fixed asset ledgers and depreciation schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems
- Strong GAAP knowledge and regulatory compliance expertise
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills for stakeholder presentations
