Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance commentary
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP/AR, GL reconciliation, and payroll processing
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures with SOX compliance focus
- Develop and implement financial controls to mitigate risks and improve efficiency
- Coordinate external audits and tax preparation with CPA firms
- Create financial models and forecasts for strategic decision-making
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in GAAP compliance and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing remote accounting operations and virtual teams
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
