Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for multi-state employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Calculate and garnish wage attachments (child support, tax levies)
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare year-end tax forms (W-2, 1099)
- Implement new payroll policies while ensuring FLSA/FLSA compliance
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding/offboarding payroll transitions
- Audit time records and resolve payroll discrepancies
- Manage 401(k) enrollment and deduction processing
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems
- Strong knowledge of FLSA, federal/state tax regulations, and garnishment laws
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros)
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet strict deadlines
