Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15-20 corporate clients, including month-end closes and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead tax preparation and planning for C-corporations, S-corporations, and partnerships
- Implement and optimize accounting systems using QuickBooks and Xero
- Conduct internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Mentor junior accountants and provide training on accounting best practices
- Collaborate with clients to resolve financial discrepancies and optimize cash flow
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience with public accounting exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, and Microsoft Excel
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and industry compliance standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities
- Proven experience leading audit engagements and financial reporting cycles
