Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP and industry regulations
- Lead financial audits and coordinate with external auditors for seamless reporting
- Develop and implement financial controls to enhance operational efficiency
- Provide strategic financial insights to support business decision-making
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing for assigned clients
- Maintain accurate financial records using advanced accounting software
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate settings
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance and auditing
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision
