Responsibilities
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable functions and improve cash flow management
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis initiatives
- Implement internal controls to enhance financial reporting integrity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial planning and strategic initiatives
- Manage tax compliance filings and liaise with external auditors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated success in financial reporting and month-end close processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
