As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of our financial records, managing complex reconciliations, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements. Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Oversee the general ledger and ensure all journal entries are accurate and properly classified.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Perform internal audits and coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
