Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable and receivable processes
- Oversee general ledger maintenance and reconciliation activities
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Develop and implement internal controls for financial operations
- Collaborate with tax professionals on compliance filings
- Mentor junior accounting staff on best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Deep understanding of GAAP and tax regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with multi-state compliance
