Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements
- Manage general ledger operations, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments
- Coordinate annual audits and tax preparation with external partners
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
