Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for executive leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and vendor management
- Lead internal audits and ensure SOX/GAAP compliance across all financial activities
- Implement process improvements using QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel modeling
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Maintain regulatory compliance for multi-state operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and accounting software proficiency
- Proven track record of improving financial reporting accuracy and efficiency
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with competing priorities
