Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
- Manage general ledger operations, ensuring accurate and timely month-end closes
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for multiple departments
- Conduct internal audits and compliance reviews to ensure regulatory adherence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial workflows
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Support external audit processes and documentation requests
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with financial modeling and variance analysis
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
