Responsibilities
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Lead accounts payable/receivable functions and ensure timely processing of transactions
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to senior leadership
- Oversee compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement financial controls to enhance operational efficiency
- Mentor junior accounting staff and support cross-departmental financial initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, reconciliation, and tax preparation
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into strategic insights
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines in fast-paced environments
