Responsibilities
- Execute full-cycle accounting including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze variance reports and provide actionable insights to finance leadership
- Manage complex multi-currency transactions and intercompany accounting
- Oversee audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Maintain compliance with SEC regulations and SOX requirements
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in tech/financial services
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Excel (VBA skills a plus)
- Deep understanding of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Proven track record in managing month-end close processes
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience with remote team collaboration tools (Slack, Asana)
