Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with detailed variance reporting
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15-20 diverse clients across multiple industries
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Collaborate with senior leadership on financial forecasting and budgeting initiatives
- Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online and proprietary ERP systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax compliance, and multi-state regulations
- Proven ability to manage complex financial reporting and analysis
- Exceptional communication skills for client-facing interactions
- Detail-oriented with demonstrated problem-solving abilities
