Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closes and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with attention to GAAP compliance
- Lead tax preparation and planning for corporate clients
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Implement and improve internal controls and accounting systems
- Mentor junior accountants and provide technical guidance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial strategy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Expertise in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software implementation
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage complex financial reporting
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
