Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation
- Implement and optimize accounting systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Lead special projects including process improvements and financial modeling
- Mentor junior accountants and ensure adherence to internal controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit coordination
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and international transactions
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex financial concepts clearly
- Proven track record of improving accounting processes and reducing costs
