Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements with variance commentary
- Manage complex general ledger operations including month-end and year-end closing processes
- Lead internal audits and SOX compliance initiatives for portfolio companies
- Develop tax strategies and coordinate with external CPA firms for filings
- Implement process improvements using NetSuite and QuickBooks Enterprise
- Mentor junior accountants on financial reporting best practices
- Collaborate with executive team on budget forecasting and KPI tracking
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expert proficiency in GAAP, FASB standards, and tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Power Query) and ERP experience
- Proven track record of process optimization in financial operations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in complex data sets
- Excellent communication abilities for presenting financial insights to stakeholders
