Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end closing and financial statement preparation
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements for financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Lead special projects including audits and system implementations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (Sage 100 experience a plus)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, tax preparation, and audit coordination
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for presenting complex financial information
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
