Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15-20 client portfolios including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes with 99.7% accuracy target
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Implement and optimize internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for diverse industry clients
- Collaborate with audit teams during quarterly and annual reviews
- Mentor junior accountants through structured knowledge-sharing sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA certification required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Microsoft Excel (Advanced Functions)
- Proven track record of managing multi-state tax compliance (CA focus)
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail demonstrated through case studies
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for client interactions
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP) preferred
