Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reconciliations and variance analyses.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including vendor management and client invoicing.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve internal controls and operational efficiency.
- Prepare audit schedules and coordinate with external auditors as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification preferred.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in full-cycle accounting and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax laws, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
