Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable business insights
- Prepare tax documentation and collaborate with external auditors
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and ERP systems
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance accounting efficiency
- Mentor junior accountants and support cross-departmental financial projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate settings
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and financial reporting tools
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end closing and account reconciliation
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Experience with tax preparation and regulatory compliance
