Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliation
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with attention to GAAP compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Conduct variance analysis and financial reporting for executive leadership
- Lead internal audits and ensure SOX compliance documentation
- Collaborate with tax department on quarterly filings and year-end reporting
- Implement process improvements using accounting software (NetSuite experience preferred)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA strongly preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Proven experience with month-end closing and reconciliations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder reporting
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
