Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Lead internal audits and implement process improvements for financial controls
- Collaborate with tax department to support quarterly and annual tax filings
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting staff and provide training on new accounting systems
- Present financial insights to executive leadership through clear, data-driven reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA candidacy required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Experience managing accounting teams and process optimization projects
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present to non-financial stakeholders
