Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and regulatory adherence
- Lead internal audits and implement process improvements for operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
- Maintain robust financial controls and documentation for multi-state operations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing for diverse client portfolios
- Drive digital transformation initiatives in accounting systems and workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and advanced Excel functions
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, FASB standards, and multi-state tax compliance
